The Senior Executive Board of Grandville High School is partnering with Toys for Tots this holiday season.  Students at the High School, Middle School, and all Grandville Elementary Schools have been asked to collect new toys to help a less fortunate child experience the joy of Christmas. Toys will be collected from November 30th to December 11th. The classroom that collects the most toys will receive a visit and surprise delivery from Santa.  If you have any questions regarding the above, please contact the Senior Executive Board at the High School.

As many parents know, Edwin, a man from Uganda, came to South earlier this year to discuss the assistance he provides to a small school in a tiny, remote village of Uganda. In order to assist Edwin and do something special for the students at his school, the South faculty and staff would like to help Edwin throw a Christmas party for his students.  Therefore, they have requested that in lieu of traditional holiday gifts, student and parents make a monetary donation to help provide this Christmas party. Without these funds, the party will not be possible.  Edwin has promised to video tape the party and send it to South to share with our students.  Again, if you were considering purchasing a gift for a faculty member or staff, they have asked that the money, or a portion of it, be donated towards the Christmas party in Uganda.  Checks may be made payable to “South Elementary.”  If you have any questions, please contact your student’s teacher.
