South Elementary PTC News Week of 10.17.16

Here are the updates for the week of October 17th, 2016:

October 16-22: Round 2 of the Orange Leaf Fro-Yo Spirit Challenge!  We are on to round 2  and we are facing off against Grand View!  Thanks for the support during Round 1!    When you visit Orange Leaf- place your receipt into the bucket for South and we earn 20% of the sale.  Even gift card purchases count!

October 20th- Picture retakes.  Information HERE

October 20th: “Moms Night Out at Brush”- EVERYONE is welcome!  7:30pm- Save time & Pre-Register HERE! Its great fun- instructor led painting and you go home with a great new painting that same night!  They also have adult beverages available for purchase.  You do not need to be a parent at South to attend.  Invite your friends!  Starts at 7:30pm so you’ll have time for dinner (and maybe putting the kids to bed) before heading out!


Kindergarten classes have a PJ Day on the 21st!

Parent Teacher Conferences are the 25th & 27th and to show our appreciation to the teachers, we have volunteers bring in food for their dinner that night.

There will also be order forms coming home with Friday Folders this week- similar to last year- we will have pizza orders placed and ready for you to pick up as you exit your conference to make dinner that night easy!

We also have a Culvers Fundraiser coming up on November 7th, we are in need of a few more volunteers in the 7pm-8pm time slot.  Your duties could include greeting customers & helping run food.  Click HERE to sign up

Class Halloween Parties are scheduled for the 28th- which is also a half day.  The Costume Parade will be at 9:30!  And Monday October 31st there is no school.
