Weekly Update for December 14-18

General Notes

Thank you to all the South students, families, and staff for helping to make the Senior Executive Board of Grandville High School’s Toys for Tots drive a success.  South collected 121 toys for to help less fortunate children experience the joy of Christmas.

South also raised $312.25 for  “Shop with a Cop.”   At 8:00 a.m. on Sunday, December 13, 12 selected students were given $100 to purchase one gift for each member of his/her family, including him/herself.  The gifts were then wrapped and sent home to be opened on Christmas.  Once again, the generosity of South students, families, and staff is amazing.

In order to provide Christmas in Uganda, the South faculty and staff requested that in lieu of traditional holiday gifts, students and parents make a monetary donation.  To date, South has raised $1050.  In order to recognize students who have made donations, students write their name on a yellow star and place it on the large outline of Africa located directly across from the Office.  If you are in South this week, be sure to check it out.

South Student Drop-Off and Pick-Up Etiquette and Guidelines

Student Drop-off and Pick-up at South can run smoothly, efficiently, and safely if all parents follow a few simple guidelines.  The following Map and Guidelines outline the Drop-off and Pick-up procedures at South.
